Red River Names Tim Rod Chief Technology Officer
Former Cisco Executive to Drive Strategic Initiatives to Maximize Technology and Solutions Impact for Red River’s Customers, Partners and Employees.
CLAREMONT, N.H. and RESTON, Va., – October 15, 2019 – Red River, a technology transformation company, announced today that Tim Rod has been named Chief Technology Officer. Rod will leverage his more than 25 years of IT industry experience to champion the next phase of technology innovation and growth at Red River.

Rod comes to Red River from Cisco, where he was responsible for identifying and executing go-to-market strategies for its $13B Customer Experience (CX) division. In that role, he worked with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to grow and evolve Cisco’s business. Before his role with Cisco CX, Rod led global relationships between Cisco and its converged infrastructure and storage partners, including supporting business development, technical strategy, innovation, collaboration and engineering alignment.
Prior to Cisco, Rod worked in technology leadership roles with well know organizations like Hyatt, Fontainebleau Resorts and Global Technology Resources, Inc. (GTRI) – where he was CTO and CIO with strategy, resource and budget responsibilities. Rod is a military veteran, holds a Professional Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, an MBA from Tulane University, with a double concentration in both Finance and IT, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, also from Tulane.
