Red River Earns Managed Service Provider Partner Status from Amazon Web Services
Company Also Achieves AWS Government Competency Status
CLAREMONT, N.H. and RESTON, Va., – October 17, 2019 – Red River, a technology transformation company, announced today it was accepted into the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Managed Service Provider (MSP) Partner Program. The AWS MSP program enables AWS customers to identify proven AWS Partner Network (APN) Advanced Consulting Partners, such as Red River, that are “skilled at cloud infrastructure and application migration, and deliver value to customers by offering proactive monitoring, automation, and management of their customer’s environment.”
In addition to receiving the AWS MSP Partner designation, Red River recently achieved AWS Government Competency status. The company has also earned Amazon EC2 for the Microsoft Windows Service Delivery Program and is one of only 14 companies to have earned the AWS GovCloud skill designation under the AWS Service delivery program. Of Red River’s national team of expert cloud consultants and engineers, more than 80 hold AWS certifications and accreditations.
“This recognition of our managed services practice as an AWS Managed Services Partner validates our cloud capabilities and our ability to deliver the highest quality service to our customers,” said Red River COO Dan McGee. “We will continue to evolve and grow our managed services capabilities to better enable our customers to focus on accelerating the growth and transformation of their organizations.”
To be accepted into the AWS MSP Partner Program, AWS Partner Network (APN) Partners must complete an extensive third-party audit covering how they plan, build, integrate, operate, optimize, and provide security on AWS. APN Partners must show continued improvement, from adopting new AWS services and features to earning higher scores with each annual audit.
Red River recently expanded its managed services division with the acquisition of Washington, D.C.-based CWPS. The acquisition added depth, breadth and maturity to Red River’s managed services portfolio, as well as a second 24×7 Network Operations Center.
